Okay, don't laugh, but this page actually brought a tear to my eye. You'll notice the second panel is the first time we see a full-color depiction of Goshawk, the legendary masked hero of Kestrel City,
who vanished fifteen years before the start of our story. The character himself actually was created nearly that long ago. He is the first character I drew consistantly and for whom I developed
a back story. I have to admit it tugged at my heartstrings to see my baby, my hero not just in living color, but seeing him as a painting, as an icon. I'm not explaining this real well ,but
it meant something to me to see him finally shown in the comic. Whoo. Too many heavy emotions here. Still, good stuff. Don't forget to check out Sidelines to see what's going on with Jove and Rikki.
